|---|---|---|
| Disable tracking | On | Stops the supported optional usage statistics, advertising identifiers and diagnostics. |
| Hide Premium banner | On | Hides the registration/Premium notice. NU+ article availability stays the same. |
| Hide ads | On | Removes banners, video ads, sponsored items and NUshop promotions. |

Advertising and tracking services¶
The ad and tracking controls cover the supported optional activity from: Snowplow, Comscore / Nobo, Usabilla, JWPlayer measurement, BrandMetrics; publisher measurement.
Blocking measurement does not block every function from the same provider. Essential app services can still connect.
Before using¶
NU+ links remain visible, but hiding a notice does not retrieve unavailable article text. Manual account and notification choices remain.
