Scope and limitations¶
Each patch applies to the app versions listed in the catalogue. App pages explain the changes, the named advertising and tracking services affected, and any features that stop working.
Disable tracking reduces the collection described for that app. It does not promise anonymity or zero network traffic. Content, sign-in, notifications, purchases and playback may still exchange data. Patches do not delete information already held by a service.
A service listed in the guide describes the patch's scope; it is not a claim that every user contacted every listed service. A provider's general capabilities can also differ from its use in a particular app.
Use the releases page to find installable patch bundles and their release notes. Match the supported app version before patching.
Report incorrect descriptions or problems through GitHub issues, including the app version, bundle version and selected patches.
